From the beginning, WCI…Churches Reaching Churches, has chosen to work through indigenous pastors, church leaders, and their churches to initiate and sustain church growth and renewal through culturally appropriate innovation and through evangelism. National-led ministries in 13 countries (WCA Affiliates) carry out a ministry of vision, training and resources to pastors and church leaders that is producing results. WCI is not the only ministry envisioning, encouraging, and training church leaders, but joins many missionaries who are serving faithfully, and other missions efforts including the dramatic increase of missionaries from Africa, India and Latin America. Among these efforts, WCI has been significantly used as a catalyst to help local churches become biblically functioning communities with a greater evangelistic impact.
