Historically, the church in Latin America holds considerable power and exercises its influence throughout society. Yet in many cases it has ignored the needs of the people and has lost sight of its purpose to share the message of hope and salvation through Jesus Christ. However, in some regions there is a strong resurgence of evangelical churches that are committed to bringing hope and light to their communities. many leaders in Latin America only speak Spanish and desperately need resources in their own language and encouragement to be bold against the traditional powers in their communities.
