One-Day Interactive Forum for Women
This powerful event will take place on August 6th at Willow Creek’s South Barrington Campus and also on October 13th near Willow Creek’s South Barrington Campus. It’s an interactive event designed especially for women with spiritual gifts and abilities in leadership. This interactive forum encourages intentional development as you interact with and learn from others who also want to develop and use their God-given gifts on behalf of His work through the local church.
The day will be taught and facilitated by Nancy Beach and Nancy Ortberg. Each brings 20+ years of experience in leadership and teaching within the church. Four distinct sessions combine both teaching and guided dialogue with other women leaders on topics including:
- Embracing and growing your gifts as a leader
- Navigating the unique challenges women face
- Finding your unique voice
- Strengthening your leadership style
- Communicating boldly and effectively, even in difficult situations
- Leading and managing power wisely within your unique culture
- Creating a rhythm of life that works for you
- Leading through the seasons of family life
- Learning how women can become advocates for one another
- Mentoring and developing the gifts of other women
The limited size of this event creates an interactive environment where women can learn and grow from both main stage teaching as well as from one another’s strengths, experiences, and challenges. Our hope is that participants leave not only with new knowledge and skills, but also with a new support network of women leaders and teachers.
