The Transformation Intensive is an exclusive 3-day learning and planning experience where you will hear from thought leaders on the topic of transformation and where a core team from your church will:
- Discover a framework for creating a place where spiritual growth can happen.
- Work as a team to apply the framework to your specific church context.
- Leave with an integrated plan that you are committed to implementing together.
Then, as a part of the Intensive Interactive, an ongoing learning community, you’ll receive online helps and resources for the next year.
We want to see authentic spiritual growth explode in your church through a plan your team develops together…in the power of God’s Spirit. That’s The Transformation Intensive.
Details and Pricing
- By design, the Intensive will be limited to 50 churches.
- Teams must include either senior pastor or executive pastor; other ideal team members include discipleship pastor, spiritual formation pastor, small group pastor, youth pastor, women’s and men’s ministry leaders, and elders. You need the decision makers at the table to develop your strategic plan.
- One person from each team will be enrolled in a year-long follow-up online learning community.
- Cost: $3,800 per team (up to 8 team members); lower pricing is available for churches under 500.
Prerequisite
Transformation Perspective
A critical piece of strategic planning is gaining perspective. As you develop a plan for your church to be more effective in helping your congregation move along a spiritual pathway, you should understand the current spiritual vitality of your congregation. With that important knowledge you will better know what you need to do.
We recommend the REVEAL Survey as that benchmark. If you have not taken the REVEAL Survey, it will be provided for you at no cost with your team's registration. Please complete the survey by August 1, 2012.
Facilitator
You must identify a facilitator that will guide you through the process. Beginning with the Pre-Work, during the event and post event is critical to. Choose someone who:
- Listens well and is able to synthesize what’s discussed
- Ability to wordsmith and write legibly
- Great question asker
- Can be objective and have no personal agenda
- Patient
- Respected & credible
- Teachable
- Good on follow through
- Have a history of accomplishing goals
- Passion and interest in strategic process
There will be an orientation webcast prior to the event so your facilitator will have some idea what’s to come.
If you do not feel you have someone fit for this role, we can provide a trained Strat Ops facilitator who will be dedicated to your team during the three-day experience, May 1-3. (Additional fee is necessary)
Pre-Work
To maximize your Intensive experience, your team is required to engage in approximately 3-4 hours of conversation and 2-3 hours of individual work for each team member. This pre-work will allow your team to begin gaining perspective on the state of your culture, current strategy and individual soul health.
Once registered, your team facilitator will receive credentials to the online learning environment so that you can access the pre-work exercises.
